Sensory Grant Program
The Sensory Grant Program helps families get sensory tools for their child without the stress of high costs or complicated requirements.
We know that finding the right sensory supports often takes trial and error. What works for one child may not work for another—and trying different tools can be expensive. Our goal is to make it easier for families to explore what helps their child feel more regulated, comfortable, and supported in daily life.
What is the Sensory Grant Program?
What does the grant provide?

Each sensory grant is customized based on your child’s needs.
-
Total grant amount are up to $100 per child, per year
-
One item can be requested per grant, multiple grants may be submitted
-
Items are chosen based on the sensory needs you share with us
-
Items are yours to keep—nothing needs to be returned

Examples of items we may help cover include:
-
Noise-reducing headphones or ear defenders
-
Weighted blankets or lap pads
-
Sensory tools like fidgets, chew tools, or body socks
-
Other sensory supports that may help your child regulate

These are just examples—we understand every child’s needs are different.

Our grants are for:
-

-
A professional referral

If you do have a referral from a teacher, therapist, or clinician, that’s welcome—but it’s not required.

How often can my child receive a grant?

-
Each child can receive one item per sensory grant
-
The maximum total amount is $100 per child, per year
-
Multiple grants may be submitted

How are grants approved?

Requests are reviewed on a rolling basis by members of our Board.

If we receive more requests than we can fund, we will approve on a first come basis. Our goal is to be fair, thoughtful, and community-centered.

Do I have to report back or prove it worked?

No.
We do not require:
-
Progress reports
-
Proof that an item “worked”
-

If you want to share how the grant helped your child, we would love to hear—but it is always optional.
